About The Stones

La Diosa uses stones that were worn by ancient Goddesses and Queens to reveal their powerful status in society. The Egyptians and Mayans especially believed in the magical
properties of healing and energy  that these semi-precious stones possessed, and still possess today.

Aquamarine and Onyx necklace
Amber...  The stone of Freya Queen of the Aesir, who's tears which fell in the sea turned into Amber. Amber has  the power to absorb negative energy from the body and help it heal itself.

Amethyst... The stone of the Goddess Diana, who transformed the young maiden Amethyst into crystallised quartz to protect her from the God Dionysus. His tears of wine stained the quartz and thus formed Amethyst. Amethyst brings spiritual awareness, balance, meditation and inner peace...

Coral... Belonging to the Hawaiian Goddess, Hina. The first child of Akuas (Gods) Kumulipo and Po'ele, Hina was the coral poylp and the coral reefs were her body. Coral carries the energy of the Moon and Sun. It can enhance fertility and is believed to ward off evil thoughts sent by ill wishers.

Onyx... The stone of the Greek Goddess Venus, who's fingernails were cut and scattered across the earths beaches by Eros while she slept. The fingernails were then turned into Onyx by the Gods. Onyx has the ability to soothe fears, increase stamina and deflect negative energies...

Rose
Quartz...
Greek Goddess Aphrodite's love stone. Their blood commingled as the Goddess cut herself on a thorn bush whist trying to save her love Adonis from an attack by Ares. The blood of The God and Goddess stained a white quartz stone, thus formed Rose Quartz. Rose Quartz is the stone of unconditional Love and has powers to benefit the heart.
